About The Role:

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Mental Health team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care whilst working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, while supporting patients throughout their treatment and recovery journey.

We have Full Time positions available and will consider Part Time

What we are looking for:

  • Deliver safe and effective mental health care and support to individuals and groups
  • Administer medications and perform clinical procedures, including CPR
  • Support patient admissions, care coordination, and discharge planning
  • Implement and monitor individual care and treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients, familie,s and carers
  • Work collaboratively with Doctors and the wider Clinical Team
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
  • Follow organisational policies, procedure,s and best practice guidelines
  • Ensure safe medication management practices

Skills and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with a Mental Health qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Master's)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Mental Health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Flexible and able to work across a range of shifts 

Renumeration:

  • Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and in line with the relevant Delmont EA.
  • Base Rate: $76,787 – $102,672 per year (pro rata for part-time) dependant on years of experience, plus relevant penalties

Requirements:

  • All Delmont Hospital Employees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza with a TGA-approved vaccine and must provide evidence of their vaccination status. This is in accordance with the legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
  • Delmont supports a facility-wide risk-based workforce immunisation program consistent with the current immunisation requirements for health care workers.
