Qualifications: MBBS, FRANZCP, MD (Psychiatry)

Associate Professor Ashu Gandhi is a general adults psychiatrist with over 15 years experience as a specialist.  He has an interest in a working holistically with patients to achieve the best outcomes by considering biological, psychotherapeutic and lifestyle interventions. 

A/Prof Gandhi has interests and experience in a range of public and private settings including work with mood and anxiety disorders, performance and occupational stress, obsessive compulsive disorders, neuropsychiatric illnesses and somatic symptoms disorders. Dr. Gandhi has also undertaken advanced training in psychotherapy.

In addition to his private practice, A/Prof Gandhi holds a public hospital appointment with Monash Mental Health Program. He is actively involved in medical student training program at Monash University, and also heads the Neurostimulation Committee at Monash Health.

A/Prof Gandhi is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care and encouraging open, sensitive and comprehensive consultations directed towards assessment and  treatment planning.

A/ Prof Gandhi is currently accredited to Delmont Hospital and is available for assessments as well as longer term therapeutic work as well as inpatient care.
