Dr Philip Crowley is a sessional Specialist in Addiction Medicine at Delmont Private Hospital with a special interest in Severe Substance Use Disorders with Alcohol, Pharmaceuticals and Other Drugs.

He has worked, taught and published research in this field for nearly twenty years.  He worked in South Australia at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and other centres before moving to Melbourne with his family in 2018.  His aim is to provide high quality evidenced based care for each individual.  After assessment this may include admission, ongoing medication and group or individual counselling.  He has written a widely used alcohol pharmacotherapy review but also studied Motivational Interviewing the contemporary standard of care in psychotherapy for substance use.  He is a caring medical professional who provides comprehensive care in Addiction Medicine.

He also provides legal or regulatory assessments for matters such as safety sensitive work roles and elite athletes who may have substance use concerns.
